The Vision

My vision for this rehabilitation video game is to fully develop it into a working, playable game. I plan to refine it so that it can revolutionise the injury rehabilitation industry.

In future, I hope to be able to offer a highly customisable video game, that is tailored to each individuals specific injury. By combining algorithms and user data, the game will be able to adapt and process data given by the physiotherapist, giving the user a completely unique rehabilitation video game.

Using these algorithms, the aim is to also ensure a hassle-free connection between patients and their physiotherapists, using real-time feedback ensures the physiotherapist is able to keep track of their patients’ progress.

I am looking for specialists to help me in this journey, specifically game developers and physiotherapists, that are interested in making this prototype become a reality.

Some more details…

This is my final prototype mock up of the gameplay.

The screens contain an XP bar which the User will be able to build up through battles and collecting items. There is a progress bar to show the User how much of their program is left to complete for the day, and there are prompts and hints that will pop up on screen to keep the user encouraged.

Gameplay 1 shows the User being able to collect items using specific hand gestures to pick up and release items.

Gameplay 2 shows the User in battle mode, where the player must attack the enemy and defend themselves. These will be controlled movements and attack/defence will be taken in turns to avoid any potential damage or further injury.

This is my final prototype flow showing the main pages the User will go through when they first open the game.

The screen mock ups are easy to follow and intuitive, using contrasting colours that are easy to read and suitable for those with visual impairments.
